As a preceptor to the new RN Residents, Karen guides the new residents through the clinical area where nursing is practiced. She has been involved with the RN Residency Emergency Program for the past several years. In conjunction with her career at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Karen is a part of the primary unit that cares for orthopedic patients–especially spinal fusion and neurosurgical patients.
